Snow day

Looks peaceful, doesn't it.  Took this at 7:00 a.m.  Michigan State Police are advising motorists to stay off the roads due to blizzard-like conditions with blowing snow.  All our schools are closed, and even the Library and the District Court are closed.  Me, I'm staying home.  Y'all be safe!

  3. Look at it this way, have plenty of "stuff" there at the house and get caught up on the computer with everything. Watch a movie or two, do some reading and bake some cookies and indulge. Be safe in the meantime ... Huggers 8=)

  6. nice pic although I can't say nice weather. but yeah, count your blessings. I used to wait for stormy days in the Phil just so classes would be suspended and I could stay home and curl up in bed with a book...;->

  7. Love that quiet that comes with the snow when everything shuts down...hopefully not the power, however.

  8. My New years eve was just horrable. My oldest daughter locked her keys in the car, and it took me over 2 hours to get to where she was and home agian. No plowa out what so ever. Then I picked up a couple of drunks, so they could make it home safe. Thank goodness for a 4-wheel drive!!!
